Eagle Project Idea: Renovating a Food Pantry
Food pantries exist to help those who aren’t fortunate enough to know where their next meal will come from.
But who helps the food pantries?
Pete Kivela, a Boy Scout from New Milford, Connecticut, recently earned his Eagle rank in part because of his project that involved renovating a local food pantry. Pete managed a group of volunteers who performed 220 work hours that included installing new shelving and sheet-rocking the walls.
It’s a great thing yall are doing God will bless you as you do deserve.
