Announcing the Pinewood Derby Photo Contest Winners!

Whew, it’s been a whirlwind of a couple of months with our first ever Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby Photo Contest. First of all, we want to say thank you to all of you who not only submitted photos, but voted, cheered and celebrated all the cars that weren’t your own. You’ve shown sportsmanship and genuine excitement for this contest, which has really just been a fun way to celebrate one of our favorite Cub Scouting events of the year: The Pinewood Derby.

It’s an exciting time to be a Cub Scout, and we want to pay a special tribute to the 5 WINNERS of this year’s Pinewood Derby Photo Contest. A couple of weeks ago we posted an album with our 20 finalists and asked you to like the photo you loved the best. Well now that we’ve tallied all the likes and counted them as votes, we have a list of our top Pinewood Derby photos. All 5 photos win a $50 gift code to, plus the bragging rights to the rest of your Pack! So without further ado, here are the top vote-getters! Congratulations all of you!

It’s an integral part of the Cub Scouts and we love seeing the creativity, fun and family bonding that happens with such a great event. We are looking forward to more Pinewood Derby contests and fun here in the “Digital Pack” with all of you. There are lots more prizes, contests and fun ways to celebrate the Scouting program we all know and love throughout the year, and in Pinewood Derbies to come!
