Eagle Scout Project Idea: Planting A Garden
One of the best ways to beautify an area is to plant a garden. And if that garden can also be used to help educate kids? All the better.
Adam Smith, from Troop 7007 in Prescott, Arizona, recently completed an Eagle Scout project that saw him raise $950 for the construction of a garden for a local non-profit organization that serves underprivileged children. Thanks to Adam, the children will learn all about gardening, including the benefits of eating fresh-grown food.
