Nebraska’s Camp Eagle Get Itself A Nice-Looking Statue
Now this is what I call an appropriate statue.
Camp Eagle, a Mid-America Council Boy Scout camp located near Cedar Bluffs., Neb., got a new statue earlier this summer to mark its entrance.
Thanks to a donation from Mutual of Omaha and Mutual of Omaha Bank, visitors to Camp Eagle are greeted by this impressive statue: a bald eagle in flight with wings spread wide. The 20-foot-wide statue is made of cordon steel, weighs 3,000 pounds and stands nearly two stories tall.
It was designed by an artist named Todd Andrews.
