This Eagle Patrol Is Destined For Big Things
If you’re a member of the Eagle Patrol of Troop 9226 in Afton, Minnesota, then you’ve accomplished a lot in your Scouting career.
All seven boys in the Eagle Patrol joined Scouting together as Cub Scouts in elementary school, and now, all seven are Eagle Scouts.
Looks like they chose the right name for their patrol.
A few of the boys play in the orchestra. One earned a varsity athletics letter in mountain biking. Another is on the track team.
All of them completed Eagle projects to benefit their community, totaling 1,240 hours of service.
Congratulations young men! And thank you to all the volunteers who were the support behind the scenes.
David …..Sorry there a lot of troops out there that do not require the pants part of a full uniform. Due to the cost and the quick growth of boys of this age. So get real. It is more about seeing the unlikely event that all these boys earned Eagle together. as a former club den mother I would be so proud of these boys.
Way to go Eagle Patrol! You are setting a high standard to inspire other troops. Congratulations!
Congratulations to all of you!
I have 3 generations of Eagle Scouts in my family. I know how hard you worked to achieve it!
Very good guys. My grandson just made eagle in n.c. but it was just him. Good luck to all of u.
My thoughts exactly! We are always telling out scouts full uniform. Last time I checked jeans were part of the BSA uniform.
Congratulations to these fine young men on this achievement! The Path to Eagle takes dedication, tenacity and hard work. To see seven from the same Cub Scout Pack is wonderful. Our Scout Troop had 5 Life Scouts make Eagle; not all at once but they all started out together in the same Cub Scout Pack too.
Nice comment. ^__^
Awesome job boys my boys are working their way up to eagles couple more years for them botj are first class scouts
My Webelos den crossed over together, hiked Philmont together, all hit their Eagle rank and all graduated together. And I was blessed to be given Mentor pins from all, except my son…got the Eagle mom pin from him!
only 3 of them are properly uniformed Way to set an exampleAnd pose for a pic like that? C.ome on people
Agreed!
Yep true. They should be wearing green pants
THAT’S the comment you choose to make??
Congratulations, boys! You worked HARD to get here and you deserve accolades!!!!
maybe that’s all they could afford.Don’t be so judgemental!!!
Come on, really. You comment on their uniforms? I have many scouts that can’t afford full uniforms. I’m just happy their in scouts. Good for these young men.
At what point to we give up on the proper uniform bs and focus on the accomplishment? You all sound like the parent that berates their honors student for not being the top of their class..,
Good grief David…do you have a clue the cost of those uniforms? Buying one for a young man who will probably out grow it in two months can prove prohibitive. If you are worried that much about the uniform, you have missed the point of scouting.
Yes let’s ignore the good meaning of the story and worry about their uniforms.
Lighten up
Wow, you are free ally going to pick on these boys for something like that? I became an eagle scout at 13 years old and I am 29 now. I applaud these young men.
Um they are all properly uniformed according to regulations. Come on commenter.
Aww, did you wear your grumpy pants today, David?
They must have had the same attentiveness to their dress as you do for grammar and spelling.
I want to also pound on you David for suggesting such a ridiculous thing. They have EVERYTHING!!!!
