Scouts save elderly man during hike
As a Boy Scout, you never know when you’re going to be called upon to be prepared.
Troop 301 in Anderson, Indiana, answered the call on a recent hiking trip to South Carolina’s Table Rock State Park. During a hike in hot weather, the guys came across an orderly man sitting on the ground.
The Scouts quickly determined that the man was dehydrated and suffering from exhaustion. After calling park rangers, the Scouts gave the man water and electrolyte tabs and kept him cool until help arrived.
The man eventually made a full recovery and wrote the Scouts a letter thanking them for their help.
This is why im a scout .because you get to help people.
🙂
