Cool car experience for Atlanta Scouts

If you want to be a mechanic for Porsche, you have to get trained at the Porsche Cars North America headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

If you’re a Scout, you can work on the Automotive Maintenance merit badge at the same facility with the same professionally trained instructors.

The Atlanta Area Council’s Porsche Merit Badge Workshop last spring featured nearly 100 Scouts learning about tires, engines, cooling systems, fuel systems, electrical systems, brake systems and more.

And they weren’t just working on any old cars. They were working on the newest Porsche vehicles, which feature some of the world’s most advanced automotive technology.
