Time To Tuck In Those BSA Shirts
Used to walking around with your “Class A” BSA shirt untucked?
Time to make a change.
This from the official BSA policy:
Effective Oct. 1, 2013, the official stance on the Boy Scouts of America’s uniform policy is that shirts are to be worn tucked in, regardless of whether the wearer is a Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity Scout, Venturer or adult Scouter. All Sea Scout uniforms are designed to be tucked in except youth dress whites and youth dress blues.
In the past, guidelines have simply stated the uniform wearer should be neat in appearance. Neatness includes tucking in the shirt.
So tuck in those shirts, guys (and gals).
There is a tall uniform shirt.
don’t understand how a straight bottom shirt is supposed to be tucked in, shirts need to be redesigned if the requirement is for the shirt to be tucked in — they need a tail!
Yes Sharon I agree I have the same problem, and I just 6 new shirts last year with the straight bottom and I’m not buying new shirts again
Seems to me it has been a rule as long as I remember.
