Photos from the BearPaw winter camp experience
Last February, approximately 400 Scouts from the Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council headed into California’s snowy Sierra Nevada mountains for the annual BearPaw winter experience.
During the weekend campout, the Scouts made several types of snow shelters, tried their hand at cross-country skiing, and played sports, like dodgeball, that you don’t normally associate with winter weather.
Take at look at the photos from BearPaw, and then find out more about the winter campout in the January 2014 issue of Boys’ Life magazine.
