Audio From Skateboarding Legend Tony Hawk’s Interview With BL

October 2009 was a monster month for skateboarding legend Tony Hawk. His newest video game — Tony Hawk: Ride — made a splash when it hit store shelves. He also hosted the Stand Up for Skateparks event, which helps raise money to build skateparks in areas that can’t afford them.

Boys’ Life spoke to Hawk about his work spreading the skateboard gospel. Read about it in the October 2009 issue of BL, and listen to exclusive excerpts by clicking on the audio players below.
