Cub Scouts Use Bike-A-Thon to Collect Food for the Hungry
The Cub Scouts of Pack 97 in Fort Worth, Tex., know how to collect food.
They use their bikes.
The Scouts collected nearly 3,000 items in December 2009 with their Scouting for Food Bike-a-Thon. And they found that it’s a lot more exciting than collecting plastic bags on foot as they do during their regular Scouting for Food events.
Watch the Cub Scouts in action during their bike-a-thon and find out more in the November 2010 issue of Boys’ Life magazine.
