As You Read This, Scouts Are Cycling Across The Country
The Scouts from Troop 165 in Fredericksburg, Virginia, have made it about 25 percent of the way across the country.
Their adventure, which began earlier this summer, started when the Scouts dipped their tires into the Pacific Ocean before cycling through Nevada, Utah and into Colorado. As of this morning, the group was headed east on Highway 160 out of Durango, Colo.
You can follow their progress here.
You can read their reports from the road here.
By the time they’re done later this summer, the group will have peddled around 4,000 miles, from San Francisco to Virginia.
How do you get our troop to do that
That sounds like it would be fun and tiring. I think that would fun to try.
Ride On! 165!
