A Group Of Boy Scouts Saved Their Scoutmaster After A Rafting Accident
If you ever break your leg in the wilderness, you better hope there are Boy Scouts nearby.
When their Scoutmaster broke his leg while rafting, the Scouts from Troop 26 in Great Falls, Montana, responded exactly as they should have.
One boy ran to a nearby downed tree and grabbed a couple of sticks to use as splints while another began looking for a rope. After the boys splinted their leader’s leg, they covered it with life jackets for protection.
The Scoutmaster was eventually evacuated on a boat and taken to a hospital for further treatment.
I have always said to my troop boys I am training them so they can save a life ( including mine!)
