Scouts save dog’s life in Oklahoma
Four Scouts from Troop 65 in Harrah Okla., are being called heroes after saving a the life of a dog.
The Scouts were recently camping outside a church, when they heard screams for help. A woman who had just let her three dogs in the backyard when one of them got caught inside another’s collar, causing the dog to choke.
After hearing the screams, the Scouts jumped into action. Two ran for help while two worked to calm the woman down and help the dog.
One of the boys cut the collar loose using his pocket knife, but the choking dog had already stopped breathing.
After he checked her pulse, he performed CPR on the dog and revived her within 30 seconds.
If I was the leader, I would give him millions of badges!
