Who’s the Lifesaver of the Year?
The National Drowning Prevention Alliance and the USA Swimming Foundation are looking for nominations for the 2011 Lifesaver of the Year.
Sounds like what they need is a Scout in Action.
If you know anyone who saved someone from drowning in the past year or worked hard to decrease the possibility of future incidents, go to the NDPA’s Facebook page, click the “Lifesaver of the Year” contest tab and upload a photo and essay about the nominee.
Or, you can just click here.
Earlier this month, a Boy Scout in Minnesota saved a toddler from drowning, and a Scout in rescued his own father.
