How Many National Parks Have You Visited?
The United States has hundreds of national monuments, seashores, historic sites, rivers, battlefields and memorials. But there are only 63 officially-designated national parks.
National parks are very popular and attract millions of visitors every year, but not many people can say they’ve visited them all. In fact, if you’ve been to just 16 of the 63 parks, you’re way above average.
So how many parks have you visited? Take our checklist challenge and find out.
I went to Glacier in Canada in 1973
I’ve been to 16. So 18%.
so many more to visit… I can hardly wait
I’ve visited the Smokey Mountains three years ago, Carlsbad Cavern about four or five years ago, and the Rocky Mountains, Grand Tetons, and Yellowstone this summer!
I’ve been to Great Sand Dunes and Rock Mountain before, and I headed out for Arches and Canyonlands last month. So 6% is something I need to improve. Maybe a trip to Yosemite, Sequioa, and Mesa Verde might get things back on track…
This has been an adventure for me.
I’ve only gotten to Shenandoah. Still got a lot of traveling to do!
98% I’ve been everywhere here except the Hawaii mountains
I got only 1. I have NOT traveled outside Southern California.
I’m going to glacier after my boy scout summer camp
