Video and photos of the snow-skiing Florida Scouts

Troop 892 from sunny, warm Fleming Island, Fla., organized a relatively inexpensive, super-fun snow trip, even though they live hundreds of miles from the nearest significant snowfall.

Cataloochee Ski Area near Maggie Valley, N.C., was only an 8 1/2 hour drive away, and it was a perfect trip for these Florida Scouts, many of who had never even seen snow before.
