1 Scout Feeds 30 Families
Now that’s what we call a food drive!
One Illinois Boy Scout recently organized a food drive in his own neighborhood. With the help of parents, friends and neighbors, Simon Northrip, 11, collected 60 bags of items for a local food pantry.
The sixth-grader handed out fliers and paper bags to about 230 houses. One month later, they had almost enough food to feed 30 needy families.

That was a great act of kindness!
