Don’t Be Strong — Be Scout Strong
A Scout who always does his best to keep himself physically strong knows that physical fitness is a journey, not a destination.
Here’s your chance to earn some rewards along the way.
The SCOUTStrong Presidential Active Lifestyle Award Challenge awards Scouts who spend 60 minutes a day for five days a week for a total of six weeks engaged in some kind of physical activity.
The physical activity can be almost anything. In addition to obvious activities such as exercising, jogging and biking, you can also count chores like mowing the lawn and gardening, sports such as basketball and football, and Scout activities like backpacking and canoeing.
You’ll need to log your activities either online or on paper, then you’ll be eligible for a certificate and patch.

Boys have been in Scouts since 2010 and this is the first year I can remember seeing anything about it and we’ve been in 2 different packs and now a troop.
This is honestly too easy
Our pack is just starting this..we’re hoping for a good turnout during the summer for fun events 🙂
As soon as I saw this in the magazine I was ready to start. I am currently doing it. this is a good award
Our Troop is using the challenge as a community building summer-long event. It’s also a great opportunity for Scouts to begin work on their Personal Fitness Merit Badge! We’ll be celebrating with a healthy family BBQ in August!
I’m game for the challenge! Are you ready to join me?
My dad, my brother and I started the challenge this year. It’s fun.
