From Friday, July 13, through Tuesday, July 17, roughly 2,000 Boy Scouts, Venturers, and unit leaders were on site at the Summit to try out the activities and experience a piece of what the 2013 National Jamboree holds for them. The participants were able to get some first-hand experience at a number of exciting activities at the Summit, including mountain biking, climbing, zip lines, challenge courses, canopy tours, skateboarding, BMX biking and whitewater rafting.
Looks like fun, no? It’s not too late to join in on the fun yourself next summer.
