Do-It-Yourself Fitness Equipment
Working out doesn’t mean you have to spend money on expensive gear or a gym membership. Here are a couple of easy-to-make, affordable equipment pieces:
Hand Weights
Fill 1/2- or 1-gallon milk jugs with water, sand or gravel. The stronger you get, the more you can put in the jugs.
Resistance Bands
Stretch an old bicycle inner tube or bungee cords to work different muscle sets.
