Thomas Brown, a Cub Scout from Pack 14 in Virginia Beach, Va., has been named the NFL PLAY 60 Super Kid.
That means he’ll be on the field just moments before the Super Bowl kicks off. His job: handing the actual game ball to a real game official.
Thomas was one of several thousand young fans who entered the NFL PLAY 60 Super Bowl Contest. He learned about the contest from — where else? — Boys’ Life magazine.
To be eligible for the Super Kid, Thomas promised to be active for 60 minutes every day. He also had to answer several questions about staying physically fit and eating right. After winning the contest, he got to meet his favorite NFL player: Troy Polamalu.
Nice work, Thomas!
