Imagine a Pinewood Derby track nearly as long as football field. That’s the Screamin’ Eagle, a 263-foot, 2 1/4-inch track that was featured at a Cub Scout event in Illinois last summer.
Nearly 2,000 Cub Scouts, parents and siblings stopped by the Race Through Time event to see the Screamin’ Eagle, which set a record for the world’s longest pinewood derby track. It took nearly 30 seconds for the fastest cars to go from start to finish on this monster.
