Check out the brand-new Angry Birds movie trailer

That’s right, there’s an Angry Birds movie adaptation coming in May 2016. So, if you’ve been missing those wacky avians, you’re in luck. You’ll meet big-screen versions of Red, Speedy, Bomb, and the legendary Mighty Eagle. And don’t worry, the birds’ mortal enemies, the pigs, will be involved, too. Watch the trailer below:

Oh, no. Video game movies aren’t good in general, but trying to make a movie of a game with zero story? Ugh.

Speedy? SPEEDY!?!?!?!? It says, right there in the trailer, his name is Chuck. Sorry, but I needed to point that out. Oh yeah, side not, Angry Birds Stella characters are in this movie to. Luca was the one kicking the ball at Reds house, Willow and Dihala can be seen when Leo was mad at his assistant, and Stella can be seen when the ships anchor with all the birds staring in awe.
