Which game system is best?
There are pros and cons to every game system out there. What’s best for you? It’s up to you to decide.
DS Lite
Category: Portables
Cost: $129
Features: Two screens; WiFi wireless; touch-sensitive screen. Plays Game Boy Advance and DS games.
The Good: This best-selling system has a huge library of games. Rechargeable battery can last up to 19 hours. Good price.
The Not So Good: Least powerful of the new systems, with poorest graphics. Holding system and using stylus can be clumsy.
PSP
Category: Portables
Cost: $170
Features: High-resolution wide screen; WiFi. Plays games and movies on mini DVDs called UMDs.
The Good: The nicest screen ever included in a handheld. UMDs make for bigger and better looking games.
The Not So Good: Smaller and often disappointing library of games. System and games designed more for adults.
PlayStation 3
Category: Consoles
Cost: $400 for 40 GB hard drive. $500 for 80 GB hard drive.
Features: Plays games and movies on Blu-Ray and DVD disks; WiFi. Backward compatible to PS2; wireless controllers.
The Good: The most powerful game system ever made; games look great. Many online options.
The Not So Good: Costs nearly twice as much as other systems. Few games released for 2007; most are for adults. Some problems with backward compatibility.
Wii
Category: Consoles
Cost: $250
Features: Uses wireless motion-tracking controller called Wii-mote: WiFi; backward compatible to GameCube.
The Good: Wii-mote is unique. Comes with Wii Sports. Better backward compatibility than PS3 or Xbox 360. Family-friendly library and excellent classic games through online service.
The Not So Good: By far the least powerful of the new consoles. Few must-have games, and Nintendo has announced few future games than Microsoft or Sony. Does not play movies.
Xbox 360
Category: Consoles
Cost: $280 for Xbox 360 Arcade (256MB memory unit); $350 for Xbox 360 Premium (20 GB hard drive); $450 for Xbox 360 Elite (120 GB hard drive).
Features: Uses wireless controllers; plays games and movies on DVD; Internet connectivity.
The Good: Largest game library. Best online offerings. Can play high-def DVD movies.
The Not So Good: Severe overheating problems. Limited backward compatibility. System and games generally designed for adults.
The Wii is the best. You can play Wiiplay, Wiisports,Super Mario Galaxy,Super Paper Mario and more.

DS is the best because its handheld and has a touch screen and wi-fi. Wii is second best. Then XBox 360 because it has good graphics and Halo 3. Then PSP because it more games then ps3 then ps3.

i only have a PSP so i don’t know what’s the best but i think it’s the Wii.

I like the DS, because it is portable and has relatively good graphics for a portable system, plus it has a touch screen and educational games. if you are trying to decide between the wii and the DS I reccomend the DS.

ok the wii and ds are the most interactive , with motion sensors, wifi, touch screns, microfones and more, the psp ps3 and 360 are “fun” but have no true interaction, its push buttons untill your fingers are numb besides the psp batterie lasts A LOT LESS and the umb’s are more likely to be scatched and unreadable

the wii and xbox 360 are the best of the consoles. the ps3 has good graphics and has a high definition dvd player in its hard drive but it hardly has any games.

I have I hard time deciding betwen the wii and the DS.The wii has good graphics but I choose the DS because it has two screns and a touch scren.

ok ps3 is better than any game system and i should know since i was one of the people who created it. PS3 has high quality graphics and online play is amazing. so anyone out there without a PS3 should go to the store and buy 1 right now

The Wii and the DS Are great systems. I rate them BOTH *****(5 stars!). If you own nither of these systems and think that they stink, I feel sorry for you. 🙁

i like the Wii. this says the Wii doesn’t have a lot of must-have games. i say “ha.” the Wii is great travel, great games, and do the things you wanted virtual reality to do. if you say “neigh” to wii, i say… well, i say your loss. 🙂

I have a Wii and I am telling all of you Boys’ Life fans that it rocks! It has awesome graphics, there is a wide variety of games, and it feels like you are really in the game. The Nintendo Wi-Fi connection helps you play with other Wii owners all around the world! You can even use GameCube games in it. You just slip the game in, plug a GameCube controller in the top of the Wii, and you’re all set to go! I highly recommend this system. I rate it ***** (5 stars!) (Sorry, I know nothing about PSP, DS, XBOX 360, or PS3. I am too busy with Wii!)
